Coastal Location with easy access to the surrounding countryside:

Old Coastguard Cottage is dramatically situated in one of the best Scottish Borders coastal locations overlooking the sea and Burnmouth Harbour, 6 miles north of Berwick in the Scottish Borders.  

The cottage is an excellent base for walking, bird watching, diving, fishing and is near some beautiful east coast villages and beaches.

Edinburgh is only 50 miles away and can reached by car or by train from nearby Berwick.

The surrounding countryside is an area of scientific interest and the coastal scenery is of great landscape value.

Accommodation  

The cottage has full central heating and sleeps up to six, and it has been designed and furnished in an original colourful style.

There is a terraced lawned garden area to the rear of the property with patio furniture for further enjoyment.

The cottage is no smoking.

There is parking for 2 cars.

There is a pub at the top of the hill which also provides food, and main shopping facilities are in Eyemouth and Berwick. The Scottish Borders is a beautiful area and there are many opportunities and activities for the visitor.
